Small Batch Amber Ale Cask Finish

Teeling Amber Ale is a special collaboration release that showcases the innovative spirit of Dublin whiskey-making. Part of Teelings Small Batch Collaboration series, this expression was created in partnership with Dublin craft brewery DOT Brew. The process began with Teelings signature Small Batch whiskey, matured in ex-rum casks.

These casks were then used by DOT Brew to mature their Amber Ale before being returned to Teeling for an additional whiskey finishing period of around 12 months. The result is a whiskey layered with extra malt richness, creamy sweetness, subtle hop influence, and vibrant citrus notes. Bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered, and with natural colour, it delivers a modern and playful take on Irish whiskey while keeping Teelings signature smooth and approachable character intact.

Tasting Notes: Nose: Vanilla, citrus peel, malty biscuits, caramel, and gentle hop notes with hints of apple and honey. Palate: Smooth and creamy, showing toffee apples, vanilla, sweet grain, orange zest, soft spice, and subtle hoppy bitterness. Finish: Medium-long and warming, with lingering citrus, malt sweetness, light spice, and gentle oak.
