Decadent Drams Mortlach 20 Year Old is a limited independent bottling from the legendary Mortlach Distillery a distillery famed for its rich, muscular spirit and often called The Beast of Dufftown. Distilled in 2005 and matured for 20 years in a single first-fill barrel, this release was bottled at cask strength, with only 179 bottles drawn.

It captures Mortlachs signature waxy weight and depth, but in a brighter, more fruit-led style than the darker, more meaty profile often associated with the distillery. This is a serious collectors whisky small in outturn, distinctive in character, and a beautiful example of what independent bottlers can coax from mature Mortlach.

Tasting Notes: Nose: Vanilla custard, lemon oil, green orchard fruit, flower honey, and soft wax. Palate: Rich and mouth-coating, with barley sugar, lemon curd, dried mango, melon, and a gentle dessert-wine sweetness. Finish: Long and elegant, showing waxy texture, delicate herbs, citrus brightness, and lingering natural sweetness.
