John Tunstall, a British ranch owner, hires six rebellious young drifters as "Regulators" to protect his property against the ruthless Santa Fe Ring. When Tunstall is murdered in cold blood by the Ring's hired guns, the Regulators led by the wild-tempered Billy the Kid are deputized to bring the killers to justice.
