Lomond Original Single Malt - 750ML

Loch Lomond Original is the entry level expression from this versatile Highland distillery. Lightly peated single malt, matured in American oak casks. Nose:Dark, warm leather that builds into a more heathery character. These notes give way to a sweeter, malty presence. Lighter and more subtle wood notes become evident at the close.

Palate:A burst of malt on the tongue with sweet cereal notes giving a creamy texture. Brazil nuts with a slightly astringent citrus note in the background. Finish:The citrus of the palate subsides and the finish becomes more conventionally sweet. Hints of dark molasses develop into a darker sweeter conclusion with citrus peel.
