Sourced from old bush vines rooted in decomposed granite soils in the Lower Helderberg, this wine redefines Pinotage through purity, finesse and site expression.

Named F*niks (the phoenix), this wine symbolises rebirth showcasing Pinotage not as a heavy, extracted variety, but as one of elegance, restraint and age-worthy structure. It is produced with minimal intervention, allowing the vineyard and vintage to speak clearly. Tasting Notes Colour: Bright ruby with translucent crimson edges.

Nose: Pure and expressive. Red cherry, wild strawberry and pomegranate lead, followed by subtle notes of rooibos tea, dried herbs, graphite and gentle earthiness. A light floral lift adds elegance and complexity. Palate: Medium-bodied and finely textured. Fresh red fruit dominates cherry, cranberry and raspberry supported by vibrant acidity and beautifully integrated, fine-grained tannins.
