The blend is typically Syrah-led, supported by Grenache, Carignan and Cinsault sourced from old bush vines grown on decomposed granite and schist soils. The 2022 vintage captures the hallmark Rall style elegant, savoury and finely structured, with freshness and balance at its core rather than weight or extraction.

Tasting Notes Colour: Deep ruby with vibrant crimson edges. Nose: Complex and perfumed. Aromas of red and black berries cherry, raspberry and blackberry are layered with white pepper, fynbos, dried herbs and a subtle earthy minerality. Floral notes and a touch of spice lift the profile. Palate: Medium-bodied and beautifully composed.
