Produced entirely in Campbeltown using traditional floor malting, direct-fired stills and full in-house production, Springbank represents one of the last truly traditional Scotch whisky distilleries.

The 2021 edition was matured in a carefully selected combination of sherry casks and port casks, resulting in a rich yet beautifully balanced whisky that showcases Springbanks signature character maritime, lightly peated and complex. Bottled in limited quantities each year, the 21 Year Old is widely regarded as a flagship expression and a cornerstone collectible among serious whisky enthusiasts.

Tasting Notes Colour: Deep gold with warm amber and copper hues. Nose: Complex and layered. Notes of dried fruit, sultana and fig combine with sea breeze salinity, polished oak and gentle peat smoke. Hints of marzipan, orange peel, leather and spice develop with time in the glass. Palate: Rich but perfectly balanced.

Sweet sherry influence brings raisin, date and toffee, while the distillery character shows coastal minerality, malted barley and earthy smoke. Subtle dark chocolate, walnut and baking spice add depth and structure. Finish: Long, warming and elegant with lingering maritime salinity, soft peat smoke, dried fruit sweetness and gentle oak spice.
