Fundamentals of Aluminum Metallurgy: Recent Advances, is a continuation and update of the very successful book Fundamentals of Aluminum Metallurgy. The technologies related to casting and forming of aluminium components is improving all the time and new technologies are being accessed generating alternative manufacturing methods that may improve a companies' competitiveness.

The current rate of change is overwhelming for industry personal and also it is difficult for academics to keep up with these advances which may be fruitful new avenues for research projects.
